Not true. There are loan options that allow for much less down—sometimes as low as 3–5%, and even 0% in certain situations.
“I should wait for the perfect market.”
The “perfect” time rarely exists. The right time is when it makes sense for your finances, your family, and your goals.
“New builds are easier than resale homes.”
They can be great—but they come with their own timelines, contracts, and surprises. Having someone guide you through it matters.
“I can just use Zillow and go straight to the listing agent.”
You can… but that agent represents the seller. Having your own representation means someone is advocating for you.
“Once I find a house, it’s basically mine.”
